Today I'm sharing a scrapbook page of my daughter at 6 months old. It's hard to believe that she was a 4-pound preemie! I find I'm spending less time on my pages....I no longer flounder for hours with layout designs and paper matching like I did a few months back. For this page, I quickly pulled together my papers and decided on die-cuts one day, then cut, assembled and embellished yesterday. I'm trying to use more embellishments, but that's real hard for a girl with a clean and simple style!! I'd appreciate any advice you might have for me!
Recipe
"Sweet" word art, dress and socks - Cricut Baby Steps
Scalloped square - Cricut Mini Monograms
Patterned papers and journaling tag - SEI
Cardstock - Bazzill, Recollections
Flowers, pink skittle - goodies from scrapping friends
Puffy black letters - Target dollar bin
Puffy black letters - Target dollar bin
Glittered heart brads - Recollections
EK Success dimensionals
Colorbox chalk ink
Creative Memories markers for doodling/journaling
I'm entering this page into 3 challenges:
Crop Stop Challenge #58: It's a Baby - Make a project with a baby theme.
Lasting Memories Challenge #75: All You Need is Love - Use the word "love" on your layout.
My Craft Spot's Monday Challenge #44: Girly Girl projects - Create a project that just screams "girl"!
Have a great weekend!

Sharon,
I so love how you did the title. It's a great embellishment all by itself. I think the clean and simple approach works well with a baby pic, don't sweat it:) You are doing great!

This is beautiful! This page works great with a CAS style. But some pointers on future pages if you really wanna get out there, what broke me out of my shell were flowers, banners, and then the biggy; paint splatter and mist sprays. It got wild after that! :) Hope that helped! Thank you for playing along with LM!
I love what you did with the embellishments... I am also a CAS scrapper... i think I spend way too much time on a page and envie when people can whip up a page from nothing. I think you did a great job!!!
thanks for stopping by Lasting memories and I hope we see you again next week!! Kimberly, DT

Thanks for joining us at lasting memories. I think you'll find that your style is always evolving. Mine has been all over the place, but I do love a good clean and simple page
I think your layout is perfect just the way it is!!!! The only thing that I do ALL the time, is back my photos on cardstock. I'm like you though, I'm trying to spend less time on my pages, but I have to work with sketches. Keep up the good work....and they sure do grow fast...enjoy every minute of it!! Thanks for joining us at CropStop Challenge Blog this week, look forward to seeing again.
Hugs.

I do hope the children are enjoying their break. We have very little snow here too. It really has been a mild winter!
