Frosty Friends Scrapbook Page

Woot, woot!  This is the 3rd day in a row I've posted.  My scrap area and my Cricut are getting quite the workout!  I've been inspired by so many great challenges these past few days.  The lastest are a scrapbook layout sketch challenge, a die-cut challenge, a winter challenge and a color inspiration challenge.  I started with the latest sketch at Stuck On U Sketches.  I haven't done a layout like this before and it was quite a bit of fun.  I was inspired by the colors on Diane's antique pin here at Capadia Designs.  Then I cut a snowman for the latest SOUS die-cut challenge and created my winter-themed layout for the Getting Scrappy Challenge at Amanda's Crafts and More.  A bit of bubblegum glitter glue, a few rhinestones, some stitching and two googly eyes later, I was done.  Yay!

The picture is my daughter and one of her good buddies playing in the snow after one of our snowstorms last year.  It was just a coincidence that her friend's hat and jacket match the blues and greens in Diane's challenge!!  The girls were very proud of their snowman and asked me to take a picture for them.  :-)  I think they were more proud that they were able to fend off the attacking boys!

Recipe
'Frosty' word art - Cricut Winter Frolic cartridge
Snowman - Cricut Gypsy Wanderings
Patterned/designer papers - SEI Chick-a-doo
Glittered cardstock - DCWV Holiday and Winter glitter stack
Other cardstock - Recollections
Bubblegum Stickles
EK Success bubble letters
Rhinestones and googly eyes from my stash
Black Creative Memories marker for stitching/doodling
Recollections dimensionals

I'm entering this scrapbook page into 4 challenges:
Amanda's Crafts and More: Getting Scrappy Challenge - Create a "flurries of fun" winter or snow layout.
Capadia Design's Color and Pattern Inspiration Challenge - Create a crafty project inspired by Diane's antique pin.
Stuck On U Sketches Sketch Challenge - Create a scrapbook page based on the sketch provided.
Stuck On U Sketches Die-Cut Challenge - Create a project with a die-cut snowman on it.

Have a great day!
